(28) TRANSFER OF VISA:
When an Indian visa affixed on an old passport is transferred to a new one, a service fee of FCFA 3100/- should be charged. This fee should not be charged from the nationals of the countries mentioned as: Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, South Africa, Uruguay, Nepal, Bhutan and Pakistan.
(29) RESTRICTED/PROTECTED AREAS PERMIT:
A fee of FCFA 18,300/- introduced in March, 2000 for issuing restricted/protected
area permit should not be charged from the nationals of the countries mentioned at Sl. No. 15, 30 and 32..
(30) VISA IS ISSUED GRATIS TO THE FOLLOWING NATIONALS:
Afghanistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia,
Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, South Africa and Uruguay. (However, fax charges of FCFA 1,000/- will be charged from applicants NOT resident in Niger, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, or The Gambia.) In respect of Seychelles nationals, all types of visas except for work/employment may be issued on gratis basis (conveyed vide Ministry’s circular E-mail message dated 01 April, 2015.)
31. Additional Fees
- Fax charges of CFA 1,000 for nationals of all countries except Niger, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau and The Gambia.
- ICWF Fee (obligatory):- Additional fee of FCFA 1000/- is charged by the Indian Government for each visa application in order to provide funding for the Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF)
(*) Employment and Business visas to the nationals of Niger, The Gambia and Guinea Bissau will be issued gratis subject to usual checks and submission of requisite documents. However, the Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) will continue to be charged from Business and Employment Visa applicants.
