Setting up of India Corner at IFTIC

Setting up of India Corner at the Institute for Training in Information and Communication Techniques (IFTIC): Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. Rajesh Agarwal handed over the books providing by Government of India to the Deputy Secretary General, Ministry of Communications for setting up of Indian Corner at IFTIC. IFTIC is an institute which imparts training on information and communication techniques. They have around 600 students enrolled for training. It also has a small Library in its Campus. Deputy Secretary General, Minister of Communications, thanked Government of India for the selected books and added that these books would contribute in providing training by IFTIC not only to Nigerien students but students from other countries also in IFTIC. The IFTIC has given training to more than 2,000 students, mainly in the Media and IT sector. Ambassador said that these books are very useful and would provide authentic and uncontroversial information on India and also present Indian perspective on different topics.
